During its last annual meeting (8-10 Nov 2011), the Société Française d'Immunologie has awarded a PhD thesis prize to Giulia Fornasa, a PhD student from the group of Antonino Nicoletti and Giuseppina Caligiuri.

YACINE BOULAFTALI RECEIVE A PRIZE FROM THE CHANCELLERIE DES UNIVERSITES DE PARIS

The Chancellerie des Universités de Paris, guardian of the heritage of the old University of Paris, plays a central role in higher education in France. It contributes significantly to the reputation of research in the universities in the Ile-de-France region by strongly backing the university laboratories as well as the work of young researchers in all disciplines. It also awards numerous distinctions and many honorary prizes that are partly funded by the donations and bequests granted to the old University of Paris.
This year, Yacine Boulaftali, a PhD student from the group of Martine Jandrot-Perrus and Christine Bouton, will be awarded one of these prizes.

Journal of Nuclear Medicine Sep;52(9):1433-40) has been selected for an article in the last INSERM Newsletter (Fucoidan, a natural molecule derived from marine algae, could be used as a marker of the cardiovascular risk…)
